The FW parts catalog shows two different length control cables--one 16' and the other 17'. Anyone have any idea which is the correct one for the throttle connection to the throttle body injector assembly. |

I don't know the answer but I think the cable should be marked with the part number on the outside. Part of that part number is cable length I believe. |

It's the longer of the two; the shift attachment point on the outdrive is further from the control lever than the throttle attachment point on the engine is. If you can get one for your year set up, I'd recommend a TFXtreme one; much better shifting. |

Called Four Winns and they said that the shorter of the two cables is actually the throttle cable and not the shift cable. Guess I'll find out for sure when I get it try to install it. |
