I've never tried to put the camper top up on my 1987 Sundowner 215. Looking at the windshield frame I see a pair of clips that appear to have one side cracked off. Can anyone tell or show me what these are supposed to look like? I might be able to fabricate some replacements from nylon stock if I knew what to make.

Thanks!
Tim

The left side looks just like the right side. you should be able to find them. My '95 190 Horizon had the same parts in white nylon or plastic.

Find them from 4 Winns or a boat scrapyard? Worst case I was thinking I could make them out of nylon but then again, I don't know if I'd ever want to put up the top. :-) I installed a bimini which should be great for the cruising I do.

You should be able to find them where tops and hardware are sold. You might try GreatLakesSkipper.com, ebay, or ??? Check the parts manual on Fourwinns.com and see what you can cross reference for parts.

I have a 87 Horizon same clips same problem with the camper top. I made these out of plexiglass. Made the weak area stronger. They work really well. Don't look shabby in real life either.
