| Post subject: | 2004 Sudowner 285 - Stereo Amplifier... where is it? |
Hi All New owner of a 2004 Sundowner 285. The stereo was not working and I decided to do a full upgrade, I have done speakers and head unit so far, but I think there is an Amplifier located somewhere between the head unit and the speakers. Trouble is I can't find it. Can someone advise what to take apart to access it? The wires disappear through a hole behind the interior cabinet, surely I don't have to take out the whole cabinet? (pls say no) Thanks Rod |

Under the helm seat there is a storage bin. Remove the bin and you will find the amp under the seat. Hope this helps. |
