I'm pretty sure mine, which is the original one, has nothing underneath it to raise it up and the lid is flush / the handles fit in the recess. I can't check for sure until next weekend ( perfect boating weather this weekend, very low winds, calm seas and it's even warm, but of course other family commitments mean we can't go down to the boat !).

Thank you very much, Graham.

I, too, am in a similar situation. The weather here was perfect yesterday and so-so today, but I had three workmen in my house yesterday and they're coming back today. Can't be in two places at one time! My wife and I did major renovations and the details are still being attended to -- it feels as if this will never end! (http://www.edcr.us/kitchen)

Hopefully, we'll both get out on the water next weekend.

Thanks again,
Kevin

Problem solved. I got a response from Greg at Four Winns. He said:

"As for the cooler, yes it should have two supports underneath it. The part number on this piece is 100-20956, and they are sold in the each quantity."

Considering the high prices Four Winns charges for parts, I think I'll make my own supports.

Thanks again to everyone who responded. Happy boating!

Kevin
