Post subject:  205 Sundowner Seat Rail System
Hi Guys,

Im in a slight problem! We have a 1999 205 Sundowner, the one with the seats that can fold flat or up to 2 seats facing away from each other.

However, from a slightly careless member of the family they stood on one of the ends of the seat, whilst it was folded (and they aren't light!) and have bent the runner rail system which the folding seats work on...

I have found the part on the FourWinns part directory on their website and contacted our dealer, to find out the price of a replacement system, and they have stopped making/stocking the part! So we are now at a complete loss on what to do :(

Anybody have any ideas?

I have a similar problem on 2000 205, the runners are completely seized. The runners are no longer made by FW. I have ordered some new runners made for the 'H' series, looking at the configuration of the runners with a few adjustments they should do the job. Watch this space.

Hi Martin,

I have been in contact with the UK parts agent and they sent me a link to one that may do the job, I think it is on the other thread I had going on the main 'Boating Banter' one, only because I needed a quick response! :)

Think this is the one they suggested, might be able to do something with it!

i am in need of an answer to this same question. I too had a rather larger party on my 205 that slightly ben my rail while the seats wrein lounger positon and am now unable ot completely closethe seats to seated position. So Please let us knwo if this part does work for u. thanks

I will be posting updates on the one above, rather than this one as I also have other people interested to know if these parts will do the job.
