Has anyone ever ordered a swim platform from swimplatforms.com? They seem to have quality platforms and each one is made specifically for your boat. I have been thinking about ordering one, and I was just wondering if anyone here has already purchased one, and what it was like.

Thanks in advance,
Matt

I looked into it for my 225. Swimplatforms.com had never made one for that model so they wanted to send me the stuff to make the template.... I did not feel comfortable doing that because if I screwed it up and they made the swim platform it looked like it would be my problem. I ended up ordering the one from Four Winns and had my local dealer pay the freight for it as they ordered it with their spring shipment. I installed it myself. With some patience and careful measuring it was an easy task.

Thanks, they have the pattern for mine, but the cost is $1,200 and another $300 for the shipping. Is this pretty average or is it on the expensive side? I just want something that looks like it's supposed to be there, and not just a generic model that doesn't look like it belongs on the boat. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I got a quote from swimplatforms.com as well and their price was right at $1200 for the platform and then $300 to ship it for mine also. But to be honest...I am not thrilled with how they look. I called my local Four Winns dealer. $1700 for the platform and to have it installed. Plus, it is made by Four Winns and looks much better in mu opinion. I am pretty handy...but did not want to take the chance at installing the .com platform myself. Call your local dealer and see what they can do for you.

Track down Ryan or Chris T. @ Winnisquam Marine. They'll ship to you. If you know what you want, they can quote it, order it, and ship it to you. You will also get a good discount.

WOW!!!!! I gave $1800 for my whole boat last fall and it had a swim platform molded into the hull. I feel really lucky right now.
