My 1991 Sundowner 255 has the 'ice box' (read: NOT a refrigerator) in the galley. It has an ice tray, of which you set ice or ice packs or whatever you want to use in, and has a drain hose that drains out any fluid. The tray is cracked in half. so I cannot use the icebox for its intended purpose. Ive thought if installing a Norcold, but for how much we use the boat, it'd be better to just have the icebox. Any idea of who manufacturered the icebox for Four Winns around 1991? Ive taken the whole ice box out, there isnt a tag or label or nameplate ANYWHERE on the stupid thing. I'd like to contact the company that makes it and see if I can get a replacement tray. Thanks in advance! |

Have you tried to repair the ice tray. If its plastic you could try "plastaid" I have used it on my hottub to stop leaks and it works you may be able to use it here. Check out spadepot.com about $20. |
