Not sure how to post pictures, but here is a link to the boat we just bought. 465 hours, in 18 years, kept covered and out of water. From what I can tell they did not make many of the 235, any info would be appreciated. Thanks |

Boat looks great, just get the maintenance items I mentioned in the other thread, and you should be good to go. Does this have the dog clutch OMC drive (flat top) or the Volvo style joint venture drive (hump on top)? Believe it or not, for the 351, they used 2 different drives, in the 94s, the regular Cobra used the joint venture from what I can see, but the King Cobra used the OMC cone clutch drive, which is very different and physically different from the joint venture (Volvo SX) style. Judging by the shift cables, I bet it's the cone clutch drive....I don't see any ESA switches... I'd see if I could pick up some spare parts for the electronic fuel injection system, those parts can be hard to find sometimes. Same for the electronic ignition..... |
