Welcome! I would have your reputable service center give the boat and the entire systems the once over. Then invest in boat us tow service and get out on the water and give her a go.

I am also going to have to repair a couple of trailer bunks but the boat is on the trailer. What type of wood should I use? And what type of carpet? Should I use stainless bolts ,nuts, and washers? Thanks HMT

When I purchase my boat, they replaced belts, bellows, impeller, plugs, wires, batteries and then lubed everything up. $1,900 or so.

As for the bunks, I have wolmanized 2 x 4's that need replacing, I am going to go with 2 x 6's. I went to our marina and they sold me bunk carpet the was about $1.50 a foot.
