The 268 we are looking at needs a new coat of bottom paint. Its got white paint on it now, and its a white/sand two-tone boat. I'm thinking painting it black, but I have not had any time yet to sit down and research bottom paint. I will most likely pay to get it applied, but what brand works best? Boat will be trailered this year and next, most likely, and then hopefully slipped.

Did a lot of research before painting my boat, ended up with Petit Vivid. After talking to both factory reps and about a dozen dealers this seemed to be the best for a boat that will be in fresh water and trailered or stored on a trailer in the winter.

Your best bet is to talk to people who are moored in the same area and fine out what works there...

If your keeping it trailered then I assume you are doing this for aesthetic purposes. If my assumption is true I would go with something inexpensive as I'm sure you are gonna be spending on lots of other things on your new toy.
