Have you tried contacting a Norcold dealer (RV)? I've had to call one and they were really accommodating. Just a thought.

The 351(20Hx18Wx20D) has been remodeled a handful of times over the years and now is the NR 751 BB( 20.5"H x 18.5"W x 21.06"D). http://www.wholesalemarine.com/p/NOR-NR751BB/Norcold+3.0+CF+Built-In+AC-DC+Refridgerator-Black+Front.html If you have the depth this fridge can be flush mounted or can be mounted the traditional "proud" mounting style with the door sticking out.

We installed this fridge a couple of months ago and have been very happy with it so far. It has a cool blue led interior light, and more inside space than the DE0051 it replaced. If you decide on this fridge don't forget to order the AC power cord since it doesn't come with one.

*edit. You have no idea how confused I just got because I answered your question herehttp://www.smwebhead.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=11547 and thought I didn't submit it correctly so answered it again here.....I think it's time for bed

Sorry about the double post. With MDW in a few days im hurrying to get this fixed.

Thanks for.the replies. I was looking at the Nr 751 but its a little deeper and shaped differently. If I go.this route I might have to have the refer stick out about 3-4" overall. This seems to be my only option without going to a much smaller fridge. Either way it seems that some cabinet work will be needed.

Always something with a boat- and these somethings are never simple fixes.

Thanks Bliss36.

The Nr751 fits almost perfectly in the 1997 278 vista. The only issue is about 5/8" of depth. Their is a stringer that goes up the side of the hull rught behind thethe middle of the fridge. I will have to make a very small notch to get the fridge back the remaining distance.
