Second season on our 2005 ( V 378) we have yet to get the Sharp LCD television to work. Actually just trying to get the DVD to work with the TV...can't seem to even get the TV to power-up. There is a manual power button on top of the unit which puts the television in what I believe is a standby mode as a red light turns on on the front...but it will not turn on into the green state as mentioned in the Sharp owner's manual even with the remote control..and yes new batteries in the remote. Any suggestions ?
Furthermore the Clarion stereo system's owner's manual says to cycle the power button to show TV in the display...don't have that option I guess as we only have Tuner,CD, CD multi changer and Aux to display !

Can you use the remote to cycle through inputs to make sure that you're on the correct input?

I have the same boat and have no issues. Have you tried hooking a device directly to the ide of the TV when youopen the cabinet to verify the TV works??

It's a PITA to get to the components but you can do it if you take your time
