 Post subject: Hour Meter on 258 Vista

Ok so the owner's manual for the 99 258 Vista states that the hour meter, if so equipped, will be in the engine compartment. Can anyone tell me where in the engine compartment it would be?

Usually mount by the rest breakers by the exhaust manifolds

Thanks for the responses guys, gave a pretty thorough look around the engine compartment this weekend, I don't think this boat was ever equipped with an hour meter.

could have been removed. it just is a ground wire and power from the ignition side
