Have a great 2002 268 Vista up for sale and they just surveyed it and did a moisture(?) check and the surveyor put some masking tape lines in a few places. Know nothing about how this works, surveyor said its nothing important but selling to first time boat buyer so I would imagine they are paranoid. Can anyone give me the Readers Digest condensed version on what a moisture reading means? The boat is a 90%, fresh water all life with 300 hours. Has never been abused but do not want to sell something that is not on the up and up also.

Thanks much

Google "moisture reading on fibreglass hull" there are a lot of good articles.
This one in particular, http://www.marinesurveyor.com/meters.html
