Hi. Newbie here. Trying to get as much infomation possible before making a purchase.

Looking at a very good condition 1994 278 FW vista cruiser. It has the twin 5.0 with omv/volvo outdrives.

This is being bought as my parent's boat, I am just acting as a 'buyers' agent, as they travel internationally for work and aren't home to do the leg work. One of the things my mom wants, is to be able to put a zodiac or older jetski on the swim platform for the grandkids to play with. Does anybody know if there is enough room and/or strength to hold a jetski.. or a zodiac? If its been done, pictures would be great.

I don't have any direct answer to your question,
but try to use the search function with this forum with the word "Davit"

You will find some previous discussion including 278's, and this one with pictures on a 268:

Regarding a Jetski, here is a good one:

In other news.. The seller accepted our offer today! Woo Hoo. Off to plan for bringing it from WI to MI.. Not via the pond. Driving up and around.
