Hi All.

I took delivery of my "new" 2006 Vista 378 last week-end.

It's taken us 15 years and about six or seven boats to work out what we really want in a boat, and I think the FW is going to fit the bill perfectly.

I purchased it from the Gold Coast, around 1,000 kilometers away and interestingly, the police wouldn't let it travel on the main highway due to the Christmas holiday traffic, so it needed to travel via an inland route, through some towns that not even I have heard of before - but made it down here safely.

I've found a few bugs that the survey didn't pick up, so hopefully it won't be too expensive working through these.

Welcome to the fold, Wayne!
Keen to see some more photos, from a fellow Aussie!
Will you get out on the water for Australia Day?

Daz.

Thanks for the warm welcomes.

We had our Australia day holiday here a few days ago and we took the boat out for her maiden voyage with us.

Had a few teething issues, including;
* Genset blew impeller
* Engine (Merc 496HO) blew a water hose off it's seat
* All tank gauges not working
* Mains power hot water only luke warm.
* Ice maker leaking

Anyway, Still had a great week-end and sure we'll be very happy with the boat.
