I have a Vista 268 and just replaced the Jabsco hand pump assembly on the head. It worked great for a few cruises and now doesn't work in "wet bowl". No water when trying to flush. The "fluid" will go down but no water being pumped. This boat also has a fresh water tank for flushing the head, don't know if this is standard or not. Did the new pump assembly go bad in just 2 months?

Yep. And Jabsco's are NOTORIOUS for this. Ive had mine replaced 3 times now, under warranty. I think the guy at Jabsco knows me by first name

Try some olive oil down the pump shaft and pump for a while

Thanks for the input! I will try the Olive Oil and then replace it AGAIN if that doesn't work.

On my last boat, I used Jabsco electric conversion kit. Worked great.
