How do you treat a slow draining galley sink?

You might try pouring a bucket of really hot water down the drain to warm up and flush out any food/grease that might be restricting the flow. I would be very cautions about using chemical drain cleaners without knowing what might happen to the plumbing (hoses). Does your sink drain overboard or into a holding tank? If nothing else, you might have to replace a drain hose or clean a sink or drain fitting. Hope this helps.

My self, I would use a hose and flush the drain out.

We have fished a coat hanger through it before to clear a clog mid-way through the drain hose. Just be careful. Also, you could try taking a garden hose and inserting it into the sink drain - maybe the higher pressure would blow the clog out the side of the boat?

hose works good. hardware store (Home depot , Lowes) has a rubber bladder for a garden hose that will expand to the drain size b4 it will send water out the end to get a good blast thru the drain

I believe your sink drains into a sump box and not directly overboard. If so pull the hose off the sump box, check for clogs where it attaches, I literally just last week fixed the exact same problem for a customer.
