On my 318 it has the hatch that is removable over the starboard engine, next to the powered hatch. It was caulked down, pretty much making it fixed. I'm not sure if rain water was still making it into the bilge then or not.

Any ideas on how to keep it removable if needed? I bought some of the bathroom caulk with tape on both sides to see if that will work but I have my doubts.

I have the same issue with my 338. I have not recaulked the seam as I pull the floor section up occasionally. I get water in the bilge when washing the floor. Not too much but enough to be a nuisance so I dry the bilge manually as the water level is lower than the pump can get to.

using the cockpit cover or camper canvas do you see this problem?
I get allot of rain water in my bilge when using the cockpit cover, it runs down the gap where the cover wraps around the arch, then runs down the back of the Stbd seat back and into the bilge.

I'm using the camper canvas. I had a few spots where water was able to get in, so I dropped the arch and put new weatherstripping down. We'll see how it does now. It was hitting the starboard side U-seat back and running down behind it.

Maybe it's your aftermarket galley faucet that is leaking into the bilge, and that is why you don't have the water pressure
you had with the OEM faucet.

I wish it was that simple :)...but the forward bilge is bone dry. I think its the faucet though...going to replace the Delta with a Moen. Put a Moen on the 268 and it was great.
