I have a 2000 298V and the companionway door has started to rub in the middle and makes a squeaking sound. I thought it was either the top or bottom making the noise so I sprayed the the slides with WD40 but then I noticed the rub marks in the middle of the door where it is rubbing against the fiberglass. All the screws seem tight so do these doors buckle from time to time due to the heat, etc...?
I don't see how I could trim back the fiberglass where it is rubbing so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Since I couldn't find any loose screws, I assumed the door warped outward so I took a couple of slivers of loop Velcro and stuck them on the face of the fiberglass pocket frame where the middle of the companionway door was rubbing. No more squeaking and no more loud slamming of the door by the kids!
