I'll use a 1.5m fixed stay (of some type) to help hold dingy in the vertical position on its mounts on the transom. Basically, to go from from dingy to rear handrail behind seats.
I also use a retaining strap to pull the dingy forward. So the stay will push it back and the stray pull forward. Between the 2 items it will be held in place and not put any force on the transom bar which is not the strongest version. (which is why I'm doing this).

Anyone have creative solutions for a broom handle length stay that has a rail grip on one end and pushes the dingy away with the other end.....
