Does anyone know if my boat's wheel would be keyed or splined hub?

Also, it appears as though two of my screws are stripped out on the face of the wheel :x . Any good advice for getting those out without damaging the threads?

My trick has always been to try and apply pressure against the side of the head with a flat screwdriver while slowly turning the screw out. Once you can get the screwdriver under the head, apply pressure upwards while turning out and it should slowly come out.

Take the center nut off 1 1/16 nut it should be, and then remove the washer and you can see if it is key or spines.

It is the head of the screw (allen key) that is stripped. I might have no choice but to try the screw out that Jdpber sent the link for. Anyone know if that will work on an allen key head screw? I have heard they work on phillips....

There doesnt appear to be a center nut on mine....do I take the four winns logo out and find it below that? This is the wheel I am considering...http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-OEM-Gussi-B ... Kf&vxp=mtr

Do I even have to take the allen head screws out if I remove the 11/16" nut?

In a word, no !

FW used both splined and keyway hubs depending on the year of manufacture.

If a hub has a wheel attached with bolts, it's usually a "Momo" spacing.. Some odd ones though like a 5 bolt wheel one I bought, easily adapted though.

That's a good looking wheel, and probably fine for Ohio. I wouldn't be able to use that in Florida because the black would be to hot to touch in the summer sun.
