The 2004 Cockpit Norcold fridge has died on the 328 Vista and after a quote of $500 to fix it I have decided to replace it with a Engel with almost identical looks.

My Problem is ....

How do I remove the LHS screws holding the fridge to the boat - Do I need to take the door off - How do I do this ?

Has anyone managed to remove the screws without taking the doors off ?

Please any detailed help would be appreciated

I needed to remove the decorative vinyl padding that is on the port side of the 328 right where the cockpit fridge door would swing open too if you opened the cockpit fridge door all the way. If I remember correctly I think there is a screw or maybe two holding this decorative vinyl padding then the decorative padding simply lifts straight up and off which then permits enough space for you to access the screws on the left hand side of your fridge.

Thanks Mike... Found the screws and can now access the screws ... unfortunately the bottom LHS has rusted and the head burred - Grrr
