I have a 2011 V335 (same as V318). Can someone tell me where the anti siphon valves are located on this boat.

Port or starboard? To access the port, remove the cockpit fridge/icemaker. Starboard, lift up on the seatback behind the helm - part of the U shaped seating. You may need to cut an access hole to get to it, I can't recall. Very easy to get to on this boat.

So you think you had to cut a hole in your boat to get to it but your not sure.?? Yes, it's the Starboard side. The seat doesn't go up very far on my boat. Can you tell me what was near it when you got to it?

You should not have to cut a hole to get at the anti siphon valve, it will be near the sending unit for the gas gauge on top of the gas tank. There is usually a removable plate that you can take off to access those things. My boat has the big gas tank hatch.

That's correct. It's been a few years since I changed my fuel sending unit/extended the generator fuel pickup. I have also sold that boat. If your going to be right at the fuel tank for the anti siphon valve, might not be a bad idea to extend the fuel pickup for the generator - it stops a few inches before the bottom of the tank. The fuel tanks on your boat are on either side of the aft cabin - access is from above. Your boat may be a bit different than mine since you have the hard top and I had the folding arch.

The seating behind the helm, will completely lift up. I don't even think there is a screw holding it in place - at least on my '08 there wasn't. Lift up and out - the entire seat back will come up. This is the part I don't recall, as I didn't take any pictures of it. There may or may not already be an access hole there from the factory. If you can't reach the anti siphon valve - use a 6" hole saw and cut a hole in (a mirror will help you to look through the existing hole to see where it is). (Move the access hatch above the water heater and look towards the bow - you'll see the fuel tank and also where the fittings are on it).

Once you get that seat off it'll make more sense to you. See below pics where I circled the seat back and the spot you get access to it from behind the seat. Also here is the link from 2014 when I did my fuel sending units.

Lou - on the 318/335 the fuel tanks are on either side of the aft cabin - outward sides of the boat, at/below the cockpit level. Much different than on a bowrider where the anti siphon valve is right there. 10 second job on my H240, about a 10 minute job on the 318.

Ah thanks for the explanation. Never worked on one of those. I will not be able to go beyond a 20' due to storage issues, too expensive here in Long Island NY.

Thanks everyone and thanks to Joe for the pics. For now I'll run with tanks about half to get by. Have developed other more pressing problems, posted under power steering pump leak.

In my boat I can remove the cabinet on the starboard wall of the aft cabin to gain access to the starboard fuel tank. I’d be surprised if you can’t do the same.

I started to go that route but abandoned it after I saw how much easier it was to go from the top. It would have been a lot of disassembly in the aft cabin.

Update and thanks to Joe. The mechanics cut a hole under a seat to get to the fuel pickup that was the problem. Diagnosed by a t spliter, vacum gauge and clear plastic howe (so check for air bubbles in fuel line) and vacuum pressure as well. Turns out there were air bubbles in the fuel line. The mechanic removed the fuel pickup, shorted it slightly so "fresh" plastic hose would contact the barbs on the pickup. No more bubbles but I've not run the boat below half a tank (s) yet. I'm told this is a common problem. If it happens again, I'll have an access port to the top of the tank with access fo the fuel pickup. Just have to contact 4 Winns to order one.

Hey John, I think we spoke earlier today.

The pic above (link fixed), was showing the seat area. Unfortunately I don't have a pic of the sending unit or anti siphon valve. You'll have to get in there and have a look see. Here's the '08 318 fuel sending unit part #, SENDING UNIT,PORT,SS WEMA #395059-200SC.

I no longer have notes from that boat, sold it 3 years ago. I can tell you here is what I bought last year when I redid my generator fuel pickup / anti siphon valve. Engines will most likely be at least 3/8" fuel line though.
