OK all, here is your Monday report on the sump pump issue.
Took the whole thing apart yesterday and re- cleaned and checked the pump and hose connections. All good.
Then I used Bill's idea, using a hose with red dye. Put the sump hose end in a clear plastic jug, and waited.
As you can imagine, quite a few of my dock mates came by, stood around, drank some beer and scratched their heads.
Well it did not work. So, after 3 hours of watching and waiting, I gave up and went boating.
I then cut the end off an old steel tape measure and, after returning to the dock, tried to get that through the hose.
No go there either.
I guess it will now be the next owners problem Will tell them when boat gets sold, if that ever happeens.
