When we first got the 358 the cabin tv did not work with the DVD but our cockpit tv did. Thought I was doing something wrong, come to find out that the rca plug for the cabin tv was not plugged in. That got us working. I read the dvd player directions and noticed that it has several modes and it seems that the default mode is tv tuner thus the dvd wont go in. you have to change the mode using either the mode button on the player or the remote. And make sure the tv is on the video input or whichever input it worked on before. We have a Sole tv.

Then a week or so ago we wanted to watch a dvd and it didn't work again. I opened the electrical panel and sure enough another rca plug was loose. Of course we were in a real bad storm and the boat took a pounding so I am glad that the only problem sustained was that cable. Hope this info helps.

Just an update.

The DVD player was dead. The dealer is replacing it.

Hi--Mine did the same thing--just spinning--ended up getting the player replaced under warranty. New one has worked
fine ever since. The only thing I can suggest is try the adjusting the TV with the remote--you know the TV/SAP/Video/
button.
