We have a 2005 348 Vista. On the switch that controls the vacuum the light went out last night. But it still seemed to work. You could still hear the pump. Well when we got up today. We went to use the toilet. And it didn't seam to have any suction. You could not hear the pump. So I thought the switch is what the problem use so I moved the wires to a another switch. But still did not work. I check the breaker and everything was good. Does any one know if there is a in-line fuse. Or could the impeller make the pump not run. Any one have any suggestion.

You have a light on your vacuum switch? The one in the head, just above the sink? Mine aren't lit, nor do I have any other indicator the vacuflush is running.

The duckbills sometimes need replacing. There seems to be a recurring theme of chitty jobs this spring... I can't wait to see if mine's working (or not).

We have a switch in the head that has a light on it when it is on. It is just weird that both the light and something in the pump went out the same time.

If the duckbills need replaced wouldn't you think you would still hear something? This is the first time we had a problem with our head. Hope we can get it fixed this week. I am going to call our dealer tomorrow and see what they have to say.

Hey Cat

A spst backlit switch like what I believe you have on the head, would have 3 wires going to it. One of them is 12 vdc, one ground and one goes to the device that the swithc is powering. If the vac pump and the backlighting of the switch is not working, than more than likely you have a blown fuse, or ciruit breaker, or a broken wire, if the pump was bad in some way the backlighting would still light. If you had a badk ground to the switch the pump would still work, but the backlighting wouldnt.

Hope you find it in short order
