I need to replace the water heater in my 2002 268 Vista. Are there any issues removing/installing the water heater? My is mounted on the port side and there looks to be very little wiggle room. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I did mine on my 248. Should be roughly the same. The only thing that I had to remove was the trim tab pump. At least I think that was what it was. The screws that hold it down are a little tight to access, but it us pretty straight forward

I took a closer look today and you are correct, the removal looks straight forward. Is there a trick to disconnecting the plastic water line couplers? It looks as if they snap together, but I could not tell if they can be separated. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The connectors are a push in to release and pull out. When you push the hose in the clip will will go in as well. Hold the clip in and pull the hose out.
