Various places of Lake Lewisville Texas. Sometimes Party Cove, sometimes we tie up in other coves. I dont care as long as the music is good, the beer is cold and I am with my family and friends!

Tices schoal at the Jersey shore Barnegat Bay. Walk in to the beach on the bay side, walk across to the beach side (about 150 yards) hang in the ocean for awhile, head back to the boat for lunch, some cold beer, hang out there listening to music and racing around on jet ski, drink some more beer, cook up some dinner, drink some more beer, watch the sunset, spend the night if it's calm or heag back to marina (letting son drive back if I'm stewed). Wow, can't wait for the weekends baby.

Lake Powell, just about anywhere along the 2000 miles of shore line and 95 canyons!!! Ok, there are a couple favorite spots, but with the lake levels changing, so do the spots, coves, beaches, ect.

Ours is Greenport LI, the marina is located at the center of town full of great restaurants and bars. There are package stores and grocery stores within a couple of blocks so you never need to worry about forgetting anything.

Hey, 248Vista, where in Sag Harbor do you stay? Are there shops and restaurants within walking distance to the marina? We had been planning a trip to Greenport in late June but they are closed for an in water boat show, we looked at Block but it's Race Week and Newport has the Air Show. We are looking for an alternative spot.

Late June is Trawler Fest in Greenport. We usually stay on the hook in Sag just past the bridge. There isa town dock. It is first come first served. Not that many slips. Small down town area with some really good restaurants. Smaller than Greenport, but I prefer it. Greenport can get kinda trashy at times. Claudios is the big draw there, but how many times can you do that. There are a number of marinas in Greenport that you can stay at though. Mitchell Park is the best though.
We have also found that it is getting hard to travel as much. Prices of transient slips are way too high and the weather has been kind of weird lately. Thats why we moved to Mystic. There are a lot of worse places to get stuck.
Have you been to Napatree yet? Montuak is also an option, but pricey. I am not sure how far you would like to travel in one day, but Port Jefferson always makes for a nice weekend.

Thanks for the info; Napatree is always our fall back trip. Easy to get there, takes 30 minutes or so. It gets crazy too.

The admiral likes a slip; power, water and real showers so when she is happy I am happy. I was looking into here :

We love Mystic, if we stay in port we will take then dink to the dingy dock sometimes two or three times a weekend. I tried to look in Brewers to see if I could see your boat and make and intro stop but I haven’t spotted you as of yet.

We have only stayed at the town dock in Sag. I am not sure if the yacht clubs take non yacht club members. If that makes sense. I am on E dock. All the way in on the south side almost against the bulk head. We are usually dinking around, clamming, in town or visiting with some of our freinds on other docks. At night it is kind of easy to spot us. Just look for the green glow from the platform.
