I wanted to find out how involved it is to repack the stuffing on a 348 vista. Is this something that can be done in the water or does the boat have to come out? Does engine need removed to get access? Thanks

Can't help with your question, just wanted to say welcome. I'm sure someone with knowledge of inboards will be along shortly.

Thanks JAK, it ended up being the rudder shaft that had fiberglass crack.
