For the fresh water tank I think the 1/2 is sufficient.

As for the black water tank the question is what is the sludge composed of. If it is a huge amount I guess you could drop some detergent in there fill with water about half way then take here for a spin to try and break it down then immediately upon return pump out fill with water a couple of times. You should have odor control chemicals in there at all times.

Good news. Flushed the fresh water system with bleach/water (1/2 gallon bleach - 20 gallons water). Pushed it through the lines, let it sit for a few hours and BAM ... great hot water pressure in the head.

It's the little things in life ...

Great news Craig!

You really got a lot done this last week. I think you should be running out of issues by this point, at least for the short term. :D

You gotta enjoy it now.

I'll set aside a little time for fun tomorrow ... but today I still have a bilge leak I need to find. I think my bellows are leaking. No water coming from the water pump housing or any other place I have been able to find.

I sponged out the bilge 3 days ago. So it was completely dry. After yesterday's carpet shampooing and line flushing, I sponged out a quart of water. Hopefully it's the exhaust bellows because I really don't want to put it in the repair shop right now. They are 6 weeks behind ...
