Hi folks, just got back from a great run from owen sound to wiarton for the weekend, boat ran great, run up about 36 mph, took us just under an hour, way back was pretty bumpy, 3 footers the whole way back, but gorgeous day, anyone ever have this issue, boat gets up on plane, water starts running and my feet get soaked with water from under the dash, it ran for an hour , stops when going slow, obviously there is water getting under dash panel, can't figure out how its getting there, and how to stop it, there is a lot or water, anybody ever have this, its a 98 vist 278,I am going to pull dash plates out tomorrow, and seal around whole windshield, maybe thatcan help?

Might be as simple as the speedo pickup loose on the back of the guage. Heard of someone else here having this issue a while back. Make sure that the line is secured to the back of the guage when you have it apart.

the pick up was right off, would it really push that much water?

thanks for the tidbit, does make sence, if the winds knock off here tomorrow, i will get her out for a small run to see...

The more the boat moves, the more wather gets pushed. There is quite a bit of pressure at 30 mph. :lol:
