Has anyone had thier windlass stop working? Bringing up acnchor over the weekend and it just stopped. I only get "clicks" when pressing the up down buttons on the bow and the helm. Breaker was fine...

It binds up sometimes. I usually reverse it and then take it back in and that usually works. Or your clutch may be too tight. Did you mess with the clutch? If neither of those then I would start checking power from the breaker to the contactor to the windlass. The windlass itself may have died. I had one Lewmar show up DOA. You might want to feed power to it directly to test the motor first.

Sounds like a clutch issue. No personal experience, but have heard the noise on a friends' boat, and a clutch adjustment fixed the problem.

Good Luck

This happened to us earlier this summer. The solenoid for the windlass motor gets locked up. I flipped the windlass switch to off and also flipped both of the main power selectors to off and then back on again. After that it worked fine. Might be worth a try.
