For those of you in the market, or just browsing like myself, there is a gorgeous 298 on eBay now. Looks identical to my 268, just bigger with an arch.

The admiral liked it, until I showed her a 318, my dream boat.

If only we didn't just buy, and I had a bigger tow vehicle. I would be all over that.

Like I said, VERY interested to see what it ends up at. A boat like my old one just sold for 3k less than I got for mine last summer. Although at this price point, financing will be a bigger issue.

Thats a steal. There is an '00 298 that was just up for 41k that ended with no bids, this one is in quite better shape.

I'd say a decent deal. Not a screaming great deal, but about right for the market and economy today. I think you'd have a fun time trying to get financing though.
