I am posting this in the Vista forum; I don’t believe any other series of boats has refrigerators on board.

Has anyone ever had to replace a thermostat in a WAECO AC/DC refrigerator?

The email address in the WAECO manual gets bounced back; the US phone number is disconnected. I did find a German email address and I fired off an email to them asking about purchasing a replacement thermostat; no response as of yet.

Does anybody know of any part distributors?

did you go to their website? I googled waeco parts and a few websites came up including their own. If all else fails check some RV stores, many marine refrigerators are also used in RV's.

Yes I did, the site seemed more of an add then functional; that is where I found the german web address under the "contact us" page.
