Looks good. I havent seen them without the arch before. I actually prefer it that way. We have a few of the 278s here in CT on the river. Good looking boat. Hope you have a great summer with it.

After seeing so many photos with the arch, it started to look odd to me without. But, in person, it doesn't look odd at all. In fact, I never noticed until I really started looking at buying it seriously. I'd seen the boat a half dozen times over the last year and even been IN it a few.

I doidnt want to offend anyone, but I think the arch lookslikeabig basket handle on the 278. To tall and swoopy, if thats a word, for the boat. Love the arch on the 288. They should have used that style instead IMO.
