I know there is at least one member here with a dinghy on a 248/268. How do you mount it while you are under way?

Hello!
I have a 23.8 Vista and a 7ft Baltic dinghy. Most of the boating my wife and I do is on the Chesapeake Bay. There are lotz of rivers and towns to explore, so having a dinghy is a must. I simply place mine on the swim platform and stand it on its port side with the bottom of the dinghy facing away from my stern. I run a 1 inch ratchet strap through the eyelet on the front of the dinghy and hook it into my rear starboard cleat. I run the strap down the keel and attach it to my rear port side cleat. Ratchet it up nice and snug...Done! It takes me approximately 2 minutes from the time the dinghy's in the water to having it secured across the stern. Never a problem.
Hope this helps! Have a GREAT summer of boating!
