I am preparing for launch this week and noticed some water in the cabin (during heavy rains) under the area where the horn and wiper motor are mounted. How do I access the wiper motor in the 268 Vista? Thanks in advance for the assistance.

I seem to recall it being accessible from behind the gauge panel. It has been awhile though. Capn, Fire, can you confirm?

Not 100% sure, but I believe you are correct. I seem to recall someone else changing the motor that way. Often times, the leak is just coming from the wiper shaft, and can be re-caulked and solve the leak problem without removing the motor and WW assembly. Maybe it was powellcrazy on his 248 Vista ??

Honestly have no idea.

One of the few things I haven't messed with, although I think it may be forward of the head? Maybe accessible if you remove the medicine cabinet in the head?

As to the horn, remove the screws, coat with LifeCalk or similar and reinstall.
