Okay, I confirmed it. First point of entry from head is into the top of the mid cabin tank, then a line comes from the bottom of the mid cabin tank and goes into the 'keel' black water tank. Looks (haven't lifted engine hatch yet) like the bottom of this tank goes the the waste cap for pump out.

It doesn't look like mine, but I would guess where you said it located it is a black water tank. That does look like the vent line also. I was one of the lucky ones to get to two black water tanks. You are right, the main one was under the floor in the cabin, and the second one was under the port bench in the aft cabin. Terrible design. Waste would travel from the vacuflush to the tank in the aft cabin. Gravity was suppose to bring the waste down a hose, make a 90 degree turn, then enter the belly tank in the floor. The pump out was connected to the belly tank. Needless to say there was a clog in the 90 degree elbow when I bought the boat. Called Four Winns to confirm that there were two black tanks, but he said there shouldn't be a 90 degree elbow. They were wrong.

Here was the thread to my issue. Let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks, so I'm not crazy. So in the end you removed the port, aft tank correct? I can't see it all, but it doesn't look like my hose between tanks has a 90 degree elbow in it. What seemed odd to me is that the hose from the head to the aft port tank does have a 90 degree elbow - this strikes me as odd and I wonder if there was a reason to cut the hose and this is what was put in place?

So far it all seems to be working fine, except for the tank gauge which always reads full. I'm guessing I can just unthread it and clean it off. There is probably some junk causing it to read full.

Next pump out I'll have to verify that the top tank does indeed empty.

Yes, I did remove the port aft tank. I couldn't see the 90 degree elbow either. I wasn't even looking for it since Four Winns told me it wasn't there. I unhooked the hose that went between the two tanks, and I couldn't pull it out. Spent over an hour on it. So in frustration, I cut a hole in the floor and sure enough there was the 90 degree elbow. The joint was bigger than the holes drilled for the hose to fit through the wood and wouldn't fit through. Not saying that is what you have, since visibly, my tank is different than your, but just something to look out for. But if you do call Four Winns, they can tell you if you have one or two tanks via the hull #.

Good point, I can only see each end of that connector hose and not the middle section. Next pump out I'll need to verify that the flush water is getting up into the port tank so I can verify there is an opening (although it could still be small).

Another thing you can do is when you are getting a pump out, use a water hose and pour water into the deck fitting for the black water tank. You will be able to hear where that water is going. Then you can determine which tank the pump out is hose is attached to. You should be able to determine where the vacuflush goes to by sight and flushing the toilet.

A lot of my time was determining that I had two tanks. When I got the boat surveyed, the water system was winterized. We know that there was a 4th tank in the boat (fresh, grey, black, and ?), but didn't know what the 4th was for. We finished that day thinking it was an overflow freshwater tank. Then I had the issues with black water tank and started to figure things out.

On my 328 the 6" round access hole gives me access to the black water holding tank. If you have a grey water tank also it would be under the kitchen table. Mine only has a back water holding tank under the galley floor in the middle. Mine is square and I can how much crap is in there by inspecting it with my eye. My shower sump pump is under my bottom step into the galley. You undo the bottom step and lift off to access the shower sump pump.

In my 2001 328, the grey water tank is under the starboard bench in the aft cabin, not under the table. That is where it is shown in manual also.
