Of course now you'll always wonder if it's really centered or not...

Good call Bill I should be more clear about that. They are perfectly centered and that's where the measuring at least a dozen times comes into play. The part that I eye balled was the distance between the center access plate and the down support/side of the arch. Since it didn't have factory lights I had to decide what location looked most symmetrical while still optimizing the 120 deg angle of each light to make sure there weren't any area's covered by shadows.

Finally got mine finished over the weekend. White and blue with the dimmable option. The pics aren't all that good since I couldn't get far enough away with my phone since we were on the hook. I'm glad I went with the dimmable. Bliss36 is right they are intense. I could actually see shadows during the day with the white light on full intensity. Makes a big difference in my boat. The admiral and I just sat the wondering why the boat didn't come with lights in the arch.

You can see in the second picture the dimmed blue light although it is still pretty bright the picture just doesn't show it very well.

Wow was it a pain to get the wiring into my arch. I don't know how it's supposed to be done but I ended up removing the fuse block and fishing a wire up from there through the arch.

Looking good Flyer51!! Really wish mine were dimable like yours, but I wanted the blue to match the underwater lights and the red for night navigation....maybe someday they'll have the 4 color in dimable and we can both swap them out for big $$$

No kidding! I wish I had spoken to jfair sooner about access into the arch. I had no idea there was an access down low behind the aft facing dinnette seat. I had never tried to remove it before and it sure as heck would have been nice to know! :?

Tell me more....I looked all over and I'm sure I examined removing that seat but don't recall seeing the access there. I planned to talk to my dealer the next time I'm there because I know he installed the arch. I even started out removing a wall above the aft berth. I was really disappointed when I got that out and found there was no access from there. Oh well now I know what's behind that piece.

I will see if I can send the pic that jfair sent me. The only thing with removing mine, was that there were two SS screws that were in the port side locker into the seat back under the helm. Open the locker door under that seat and there were two of them right there that made it so the seat would not come off. I didnt see why they were needed so I just took them out and left them out. Gravity along with the two hooks it sits on, holds that seat back in place with no concern.

That looks great! My arch has lights, I'll have to get the dimensions and hopefully its close enough for a direct swap.

I believe blue is also a night vision color that saves your night vision once back off, just like red. Think its Red, Blue, Green, been a while since army flight school that taught us that but there are other colors.
