Mike.
We keep our boat on Lake Wanapitei just outside of Sudbury. Our goal is to increase the amount of time we spend on Georgian Bay each year. This year we toured from Pen / Midland up to Britt, staying in Honey Harbour, Parry Sound, and Britt on various weekends.
This was done in our 24' Doral cuddy, so we are very excited to get the 268 out there!
You must have a heater, or much nicer weather than us if you were able sleep on your boat last weekend. I finished closing up our boat this weekend and drank a thermous of coffee in the process just to stay warm.... But i still enjoyed every minute of it!
Not to derail this shifter thread but to answer your question - Oh she was a wee bit chilly this past weekend in our area (we are within a 45 minute drive of the Windsor, Canada / Michigan, Detroit border. We could not use our self contained reverse heat unit on boat due to being on blocks, but one small ceramic electric heater plugged into the boat's shore power kept the cabin temperature ok even though our overnight low got to between 0 degree celsius and plus 2 celsius. My wife found some ice on our swim platform Sunday early morning.
You have a nice area to boat in, we really like the North Channel area as well.
