I have a 2006 Vista 288 and removed the carpeted steps and replaced them with cherry wood about 2 years ago. On the bottom of the table in the v-berth is the name of the company that supplied all of the wood for Four Winns. Their name is Wexford Wood Workings in Cadillac, MI. The phone number is 231-876-Wood. They charged me $125.00 for all of the wood that I needed. They also were very helpful as to tell me what color of stain I needed to match the original wood in the boat. I glued the wood together and used the old steps as templates for the cut outs. It was a very simple project.

Hope this helps
