For us hanging out at the marina is half the fun. Our dock is mostly cruisers and for the most part it is a great group of people. We all pitched in and rented a slip to which we added flotation and boarded over. The "party deck" now has an ice machine, restaurant cast-off stainless steel sink with on demand hot water, ceiling fan, disco ball and loads of chairs and floaties. Why go home? 8)

Exactly, why go home? Great idea and you need to post a pic of the "party deck" for us. I myself want to upgrade to a 50' slip and then enclose in 15' as a deck and put an outdoor patio set, outdoor TV and sink on it. Now that my wife and I have 4 young children, the 298 Vista can get kind of crowded when we just want to hang out at the slip.

Launch Day. Replaced the zinc with a magnesium anode for the drive. Palmer Power sold me the wrong anode for the transom shield.

Need to find a part number for a magnesium version of this anode. And yes we did put the plug in.

Safely in her slip. An hour later we had the thunderstorm of the season. Want to break a drought? Buy a boat.

I'm never going back to work! :P

I'll get some pics of the Red Neck Yacht Club party dock tomorrow. Let the boating season resume.
