That boat has a wood cored deck. A fire like that, the deck has to be replaced.
If the boat wasn't totaled wouldn,t the insurace company pay to fix it. If it isn't
totaled thay have to pay "full agreed apoun insuranded value". At lease that's how
Boat US works.

In order to get it insured again you have to get a survey befor then after you fix it
and even then......is it realy worth it?

Looks like a fun winter project tho. :mrgreen:

The photos of the coring under the headliner look fine to me, I don't see any signs of burning of the resin it's nice and pink and you can tell it's fully saturated into the core. I would of course want an expert surveyor to give it a more in depth look over, but at first glance the deck doesn't look to be compromised.
