How does a generator drawing from the tank effect the fuel flow meter? I assume it will have some effect, most noticably on the fuel remaining unless there is a way to wire the generator fuel line in?

I don't know how the gauge would deal with calculating fuel burned by the generator. I don't recall seeing a way to configure the gauge to deal with a separate sensor for that. I think it had the ability to deal with 3 engines. But I don't know how that would get factored in to calculating mpg. Likewise I'm not sure how it'd get factored into being a 2nd drain on a given tank. We don't use the genset enough for me to bother with taking it into account. Perhaps a call to Lowrance would gain answers?
