Don't get me wrong, I would have preferred to use the -400. More pixels is better when showing information. I actually bought one but had to return it. BTW, I bought from BOE marine electronics and highly recommend them. But try as I might, I could not find a decent spot for the LMF-400 on the helm of our 348. We already had the autopilot display up on the port side, next to the steps leading up to the windshield. If we didn't have anything else already there that would have been the only viable alternative for the larger display. In our case it was a problem because the boat came equipped with just about everything from the factory. We never really use the autopilot either.

Anyway, I'm no expert in all the current sensors or displays, just be sure to check what the total solution is going to require. Especially when you have more than one sensor of the same kind. When you've just got one of a particular sensor there's not usually anything to set up. But you usually have to set them up when you have two sensors of the same kind. Like port & starboard engine fuel flow, gas tank levels, waste & water tanks, etc. This was the case for my Lowrance flow sensors. And I could only set them up from a Lowrance display, which could have been any number of their display devices. I chose the LMF-200 because it handled both the setup and makes for a useful display.

Hi

What I have noticed, that each sensor has it's own ser#. So in setup of 2 of the same senors is not hard to do. I bought mine from Cableas, they had it on sale for $148 w/free shipping. This spring, it goes in.

I also find this!!! http://www.danamarineproducts.com/Produ ... adf1d67f51

What a long link!!! This is a guage pod that MAY solve you'er problem. I think, I may end up getting myself.
