Thanks guys. Went to the AC show yesterday and got a pretty good deal on JL speakers for the cockpit. Of course it has the original sony's which are all crumbling apart. Just to replace them I got 4 MX650's and then two MX770s in titanium for the transom. I think I gave 515 out the door for the speakers yesterday. No clue what the factory power distribution is to the topside system. I'm hoping my friend in NJ who has an 08 will know. Theres a 10 or a 12 in the port side seat cavity. Below it has 3 zone Bose surround sound w/ a sub in each zone.
Boat is still in Fl so I'm taking an educated guess on some of this stuff. Next up - Ray widescreen (at least one to start) and tilt/pan thermal camera. Don't want to be mowing down crab pots in the bay with the pods.. even with the linecutters. The newest model widescreen they don't have an adapter plate to fill in the gap that will be left by the e120 classics. So I might just go with the prior model hybrid widescreen. They improved the knob and added "pinch zoom" on the new e127 but for almost 2k difference, and the lack of the trim ring adapter I'll probably go with last years model.
Good news - all the oil samples came back with no discrepancies. No trace of water in the pods which actually surprised me. She does have a high pod pressure on one side which a certified VP IPS tech will be investigating this week. Other than that, all good.

Brenda, I STRONGLY urge you to consider a move to garmin. Their new 7600 series is awesome. Move to fusion audio head unit or black box and you can control everything from the display. Cameras are great, radar is great, integration is easy. Way better (imho) than the ray marine.

Getting close.. still not in but should splash in about a week. I'll catch this thread up at some point. Doing lots of upgrades before she goes in and doing just about everything myself. From tearing her down in Florida to removing/ reinstalling the pods which I had completely refreshed and updated to a very minor bridge strike in Va.. it's nearly been a full time job. Getting lots of compliments from folks both in the detailing industry and fellow boaters. Kahlenberg air horn / pod alignment/ open array install happens tomorrow. I couldn't believe she was equipped with the same electric horn my 338 had! If anyone needs an electric horn hmu.

Purchased some furniture for the back deck last week. Haven't put it on the lift yet. Shakedown cruise was a success - just a small drip coming from one of my raw water pumps. A relief after pulling and reinstalling the pods myself. They turned out great after never being coated by any of the prior owners. Thankfully she's a freshwater boat. Big thanks to my brother as we spent a full day sanding them in preparation for the prop speed.I had the prop shop apply the prop speed to the screws. I'm hopeful to get two seasons out of the PS.

Thanks! Southern NH.. I might be up your way. The other issue is my open array isn't working. I have to call RM today but I have a feeling its a board on the array. Really don't feel like pulling that thing off the top again!

Up the east coast via boat? :D If so, I'd love to check out the 475! My wife and I started out with a new-to-us V278 this year for lake use but my long-term goal/dream is to work our way up to a 458 or 475 for long-range cruising along the east coast.

Afraid not this year but I (will) stay on the boat quite often w/ work so anything is possible. Wanted to take a trip up there this summer but with all of the extras I did I'm going to hold off until next summer. This will consist of me throwing the radar in a box and sending it or driving up. Raymarine is right in your backyard!
