I'm going to bring out my non-contact thermometer this weekend. I knew it was uncomfortable to stand on but Wow!

Yep, it gets hot on the toes. However, it's really nothing that a little shower washdown hose doesn't fix in less than 8 seconds. Or, people getting in and out of the water -- keeps it cool.

when you are hanging out, drop a beach towel down on it. Pick it up when you leave. problem solved.

Here in FL with mid 90's and 100+ heat index... even the white gel coat is unbearable. You couldn't even sit on the boat without the bimini top up. I carry a small juice type plastic jug thingie like what kids put kool aid in to scoop up lake water (that's still in the 90s) to cool down the deck surfaces to a temp that doesn't burn skin off. I couldn't imagine what a darker surface that retains more heat would feel like.
