Well not quite the end. The Meridian is for sale already.[/quote]

Boat is very nice, but ownership comes with frustrations that we don't have the time for at this stage in the game.... She'll make somebody a nice boat whenever that happens, and we will enjoy her in the meanwhile.

A buddy with a Chap (who actually knows about boats, and has owned one for more than a year) sent me a PM about this "new" boat search. I'm not a betting man, but I suspect the next boat for this OP will be a Regal 28 Express. He won't get much feedback about a Monterey 280 SCR from the Monty forums, as it is heavily moderated, and can take up to two weeks to get your post actually shown on the forum. By then he will already be a new boat owner.

Maybe you FW guys can steer him towards the V275 or that odd V305

Nah...that Regal 28 is a sweet looking boat with an incredible layout. I've been wanting to climb aboard one for future consideration, so hopefully he ends up with one and can tell us all about it.

Too bad there are no V275 or V305 owners on this board (to my limited knowledge) that can contribute their thoughts on those two boats.

I'd like to hear about these boats as well. I do like the concept of the outdoor kitchen. I'm not too excited about the lines, I like my 2004 298 much more. That port engine access hatch looks a wee bit small for my liking as well.

I also like the concept of an outdoor kitchen area, but like you I can't say much about the rest of the V305 concept. I'll stick with my 298 as well!

Check out this video. It is pretty awesome and I think the next boat I own will have one.
