Moving up to a flybridge boat solved the wet ride problem for us, just saying... even average days in the lower Bay made for lots of spray over the bow in our 268...of course the wind direction, current, etc all play a part. We loved our 268, but wanted to take longer trips up the Bay for more than a few days at a time, and the 268 got a little cramped for the two of us after a couple of days, so we wanted something that could accommodate a larger cruising range. This past summer we cruised to Solomon's Island, further on to Annapolis, made a few runs to Hampton and back and have enjoyed our travels immensely. On the other hand Bliss36 makes some pretty impressive trips in their 268 and they are very happy with it. It just depends on your personal styles and preferences.
